Aeration

Core aeration is a lawn care service in which a machine is run across your lawn and mechanically removes plugs or “cores” of soil and thatch from the lawn. Your grass needs air, water, sunlight and nutrients to grow deep, strong roots. Core aeration helps loosen compacted soil and provides access for nutrients, water and light to penetrate deep down into your lawn. This allows grass roots to breathe and grow deeper in the soil to create a strong, well-established lawn.

In order for Kentucky lawns to survive the harsh winter weather and return full and strong in the spring, they need to be at their best. Over time, the soil in your lawn becomes compacted due to foot traffic, weather and even the lawn mower. This inhibits the flow of nutrients to the roots of your grass. When your grass doesn't get the proper nutrients it needs, it becomes more susceptible to diseases, pests and harsh weather. Without aerating in the fall, your lawn can become sparse and thin and will struggle to grow once spring returns.

Overseeding

Overseeding is an easy way to fill in bare spots, improve the density of turf, establish improved

grass varieties and enhance your lawn’s color. Overseeding newer turfgrass varieties into your lawn can help it better withstand insects, disease, drought, shady conditions and heavy traffic. The investment in overseeding pays off by reducing the amount of fertilizer, water and pesticides required. Most importantly, a renovated lawn stays greener and looks thicker and healthier!

Why Aeration & Overseeding Should be Done Together -

Aeration enhances seed germination. Seeds germinate easily in aerator holes.

A thick lawn is your best line of defense against weeds. Aeration & Overseeding reduces weeds,

by not providing weeds with weak or opportune areas for germination.

Leaf Removal

Leaf Removal Service is the collection and removal of leaves from the lawn turf area.

First, we blow leaves from flower beds, walkways, curb and patio into the lawn.  Our team uses power blowers, mulching mowers, debris removers, and hand rakes for efficient collection.

After collection, we clear hardscapes and walkways of debris with blowers.

Finally, we haul all debris offsite to complete the project.

Fall Clean Up

We cut back shrubs, grasses and perennial plants so they are ready for winter's harsh weather. Most fall clean-ups include Leaf Removal but some don’t need it so that part is completely up to you!

Plant Arrangement, Installation & Bed Maintenance

We clear the flower beds of weeds and winter debris, Prune shrubs, trim trees (groundwork only) and make sure your plants and beds are ready for the new season. Then, we work with you to choose and install any additional shrubs and flowers that you'd like to add to your landscape this year.
